Almost certainly, your first piont of contact will be our highly trained and caring receptionists who aim to assist you quickly efficiently and with a smile. Under the leadership of reception manager Lynn Johnston, they aim to assist you quickly, efficiently and with a smile.  Similarly, the day-to-day running of the business, under the direction of our Practice Manager, Eleanor Grafton, is carried out with care and professionalism by the admin team.  We believe our client services to be as important as our provision of clinical care.

Eleanor joined Broadleys in July 2016. She brought with her a wealth of experience from both public and private sector in finance, HR and property. Her previous job was Business Manager in schools so she has swapped children for pets!


Outside of work Eleanor spends most of her time with her teenage daughter, 2 sons and 4 cats. She enjoys cinema, walking, playing scrabble, musicals and travel. Her claim to fame is appearing on Countdown and meeting Richard Whiteley and Carol Vorderman!

Receptionist and Pet Insurance Advisor:  Dunblane

Tina began work at Broadleys Dunblane surgery in 2000.  She expanded her role to become pet insurance advisor and handles all the claims and insurance issues for Dunblane.  Over the years she has built a strong rapport with clients and their pets.

 

 

 

 Lorna
Admin Assistant

Lorna joined Broadleys in 1999 as a receptionist and in 2001 moved to admin where she was able to utilise her financial skills taking care of the daily banking, book-keeping and assisting the practice manager.

Outside work Lorna’s life revolves around her four children.   Most weekends are spent chauffeuring them between their various activities.

Receptionist:  Stirling & Dunblane

Joan’s veterinary career began in America, nursing in small and large animal practices, with a focus on horses in later years.  She joined Broadleys in 2002, adding her experience to both Stirling and Dunblane receptions.

Joan has recently re-discovered her passion for all things feathered and now shares her home with eight hens – seven of whom are rescued ex-battery hens blossoming in their new found freedom.

Receptionist

Due to a love of animals, Aileen initially came to Broadleys as a volunteer, and was delighted to be offered a job at reception in 2008.  She describes herself as ‘animal-daft’ and is well suited to the position.

Aileen is married with two children, has a dog, a cat and two geckos… and still finds time to volunteer at Cats Protection in Fishcross.

Stock Controller

Laura joined the reception team in 2011 and since 2015 has concentrated full-time on stock control.  She manages the vast range of products used at the hospital and her attention to detail enables all departments to operate efficiently.  Laura is also responsible for the products on display in the waiting room, introducing new merchandise and sourcing special items for clients.

Laura shares her home life with four cats.  In her spare time she enjoys eating out, going for walks and reading books - her favourite being”Harry Potter”.

Receptionist

Lindsay joined the reception team in 2013, bringing enthusiasm and a desire to expand her skillset.  Already confident in the knowledge she has gained so far she feels as if she has worked here much longer.   As a cat lover, Lindsay is well suited to the role.

Two cats, Mia and Lily, share her family home.

 

Fiona
Accounts Administrator

After graduating with an honours degree in history in 1995, Fiona took a summer job in a veterinary practice.  This turned out to be the first of many positions leading eventually to practice manager in 2013.  She brought this wide range of experience when she joined the admin team at Broadleys in 2015.

Even though she is no longer hands on with animals, working in veterinary practice is what Fiona knows and loves.

Receptionist

Ann Marie joined Broadleys in 2015.  Her background in education has given her a strong customer focus.  The shared ideals of the reception team have allowed her to feel at home very quickly.

Now that her children are grown up, Ann Marie’s life revolves around her two Golden Retrievers, Skye and Oscar.
